Care during the Epidemic – United Family Healthcare Continues to Practice Corporate Social Responsibility

During the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, colleagues of the United Family Healthcare (UFH) donated milk powder through the Foundation in order to care for orphaned and disabled children and enhance their immunity. In foster homes, some orphaned and disabled babies under the age of 3 need multiple surgeries and repeated treatment due to congenital diseases, so nutrition is crucial for them. The 75kg of formula milk powder is specially donated for babies who are receiving medical assistance.

Received donations from colleagues of UFH

Upon receiving the donations, the staff of the Foundation started to look for orphaned and disabled babies under the age of 3 in the long-term partner groups to accept the donations. Finally, we selected 3 child support agencies located in Yuxian County in Zhangjiakou, Daming County in Handan and Ningjin County in Xingtai respectively, and made precise donations to them according to their specific needs.

Children in foster homes were handling milk powder for their “younger brothers and sisters”

UFH has always been caring for orphaned and disabled children through corporate social practices. Since 2001, it has donated medical services worth of 1% of its operation revenue each year for the medical assistance of orphaned and disabled children. Many children received repeated surgeries in the United Family Hospital with traditional Chinese and western medical treatment, and finally found an adoptive family and started a new life based on improved physical conditions.

In view of the social development, now we help not only the orphaned and disabled children, but also children from poor families. If you know such a child in your surrounding area who is seeking medical assistance, please know the following and seek for help.
